Concrete Leveling in Owatonna, MN

Challenge

In Owatonna, MN, a homeowner had an uneven driveway, resulting in tripping hazards. She decided to look into concrete lifting services in the area and came upon our website. Impressed with our "Before and After" photos as well as our reviews, she decided to contact us to claim her FREE estimate.

Solution

In several weeks, our Design Specialist, Lance S., arrived at the home and assessed the driveway. He explained to the homeowner that one of the common causes of sinking concrete is soil compaction and settling. When a soil's lead-bearing capacity is exceeded, the soil compacts and settles. As the soil expands and contracts beneath the concrete slab, the slab will sink and heave. This can also cause the slab to crack. Due to this reason, Lance recommended our PolyLevel to lift the concrete and NexusPro to seal the joints and cracks. The homeowner was grateful for Lance's explanation and agreed to his recommendation.

In about a month, our Foreman, Dylon M., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They first started leveling the concrete with our PolyLevel. Our PolyLevel is a high-density polyurethane formula that allows for the lifting of extremely heavy loads. These are installed by drilling small holes in the slab and injecting it with the PolyLevel. The expanding properties of the polyurethane allow for accurate leveling of the slab, and once it is lifted, the holes are covered with concrete. Once they were done, they used NexusPro to seal the cracks and joints. Once they were done with everything, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
