Driveway and Sidewalk Leveled in Farmington, MN

A homeowner in Farmington, MN, had noticed that the cracks and unevenness of her sidewalk and driveway are tripping hazards. She was worried that her children would trip and wanted to address the issue right away. She looked into concrete level services in the area and came upon our website. Solution
Our Design Specialist, Romeo V., arrived at the home on the scheduled date and inspected the sidewalk and driveway. He explained to the homeowner that one of the common causes of uneven concrete is soil compaction and settling. When a soil's load-bearing capacity exceeds, the soil compacts and settles. As the soil expands and contracts beneath the concrete, the slab will eventually sink and, in most cases, cause cracking in the slab. It was for this reason that Romeo recommended having the concrete leveled out with our PolyLevel and sealing the cracks and joints with NexusPro. The homeowner was grateful for Romeo's explanation and decided to move forward with his design.
In about a month, our Foreman, Dylon V., and his crew arrived at the home to carry out the installations. The concrete is lifted by first drilling small holes into the slab. Then, our PolyLevel is injected through and expands underneath the concrete slab, allowing for accurate leveling. The crew used a total of 133 lbs of PolyLevel, and once they were done lifting the concrete, they sealed the joints and cracks using our NexusPro. They sealed 36 ft of the joints and 44ft of the cracks. Once the crew was done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
