Uneven Back Porch Lifted in Ham Lake, MN
Challenge
A homeowner in Ham Lake, MN, was concerned for her back porch as the concrete had begun sinking. She decided to search for "best concrete lifting near me" and found our website. After browsing our website, she was impressed with our before and after photos and decided to schedule her FREE estimate.
Solution
Our Design Specialist, Gary S., arrived at the home on the scheduled date to assess the back porch. He explained to the homeowner that one of the common causes of sinking concrete is soil washout. When it rains or floods, water runs through the ground and washes away the soil supporting the concrete slabs. As this continues, it creates gaps in the soil, eventually leading to the slab sinking. To fix this issue, Gary recommended our PolyLevel to lift the concrete and NexusPro to seal the joints. The homeowner happily agreed to Gary's recommendation and decided to move forward with the project.
In about a month, our Foreman, Troy J., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They began lifting the concrete by first drilling small holes into the concrete slab. Then, the injection ports are installed, and PolyLevel is injected beneath the slab. Once the concrete has been lifted, the crew ensures it is level before sealing the holes with concrete. Lastly, the crew uses NexusPro to seal the joints. After the crew was done with the installation, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
