Sinking Walkway Lifted in Saint Paul, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Saint Paul, MN noticed that the gap along his walkway and front steps had grown and was concerned it would continue to worsen. He decided to search for concrete lifting services and found our website. After browsing our website, he grew impressed with our concrete before and after photos and decided to schedule his FREE estimate.

Solution

In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, Canon T., arrived at the home to provide a thorough inspection and answer any questions that the homeowner had. During his inspection, he noticed that the gap between the walkway and steps was 5 inches which made it a dangerous trip hazard for anyone walking up it. Canon created a proposal suggesting our PolyLevel, a water-resistant polyurethane formula that lifts concrete slabs. He explained that this is the best solution for settling concrete slabs as it is efficient, cost-effective, highly durable, and long-lasting, unlike traditional concrete repair methods. After reviewing Canon's proposal, the homeowner happily agreed and scheduled the installation date.

In about a month, our Foreman, Patrick B., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. PolyLevel is installed by first drilling small holes into the concrete slabs and inserting the injection ports. PolyLevel is then injected beneath the slab, expanding and filling in the empty spaces in the soil causing the slab to lift. Once the slab has been lifted to the desired level, the crew seals the holes with cement. After they were done with the installation, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
