Sinking Concrete in Maple Grove, MN Lifted with PolyLevel
Challenge
A homeowner in Maple Grove, MN, noticed that his front step had begun sinking, causing an unstable platform to step on. Concerned that it would be a trip hazard, he quickly took action by contacting us to schedule his FREE estimate.
Solution
In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, Kyle P., arrived at the home to conduct a thorough inspection, answer questions, and create a proposal. During the inspection, Kyle told the homeowner that it was good to address concrete issues immediately, as it would only get worse. Having the issue fixed before it can become a trip hazard was the best decision to make for his family. After the inspection, Kyle recommended our PolyLevel to lift the step slab up as well as the back porch, and NexusPro to seal the joints. The homeowner happily agreed, and Kyle's design was sent to our Foreman, Patrick B.
In about a month, Patrick and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. PolyLevel is installed by drilling small holes into the slabs and inserting the injection ports. PolyLevel is then injected beneath the slab, causing it to lift. Once it's been lifted to the desired level, the crew seals the holes with cement. Lastly, they sealed the joints with NexusPro. After they were done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
