Challenge
A homeowner in Burnsville, MN multiple issues with their concrete, such as the step along the sidewalk had begun sinking, and their driveway had become uneven. The homeowner knew that the issues would only continue to worsen if he put the project off, so he quickly began searching for concrete lifting in the area. The homeowner found our website and was impressed with our 5-star reviews, so he contacted us to schedule his FREE estimate.
Solution
In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, Mitch S., arrived at the home to conduct a thorough inspection, answer any questions, and provide the best solution for the homeowner. He recommended our PolyLevel, a foam expanding formula that is injected beneath the slab and lifts settling slabs, and NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant with high durability to seal the joints. The homeowner happily agreed and decided to schedule the installation date.
In about a month, our Foreman, Sam K., and his crew arrived for the installation. They began by drilling small holes into the slabs and inserting the injection ports in the holes. Using an injection gun, PolyLevel is injected beneath the concrete, filling in the empty spaces in the soil and causing it to lift. Once the slab has been lifted to the desired level, the crew seals the holes with cement. Lastly, they used NexusPro to seal the joints.
