Sinking Garage Apron in Saint Francis, MN
Challenge
A homeowner in Saint Francis, MN, discovered a drop between their garage floor and garage apron. Unsure of the origin, the homeowner decided to hunt for a concrete repair company to provide them with answers. After seeing several positive reviews, the homeowners put their trust in American Waterworks. The homeowner went to our website and signed up for their FREE estimate. Soon after the estimate was set, our Design Specialist, Mike, traveled to the home to inspect the status of the concrete. Following his in-depth inspection, Mike determined that the garage apron and slab near the front door were sinking and needed to be lifted and leveled. Aware that the gap would only worsen, the homeowner approved Mike's plan and the project began.
Solution
Our Foreman, Patrick, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the lifting and leveling process. To lift and level the sunken slabs, the crew utilized PolyLevel. The PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that is inserted underneath sunken concrete slabs. Once the crew was ready, they began by lifting and leveling the garage apron. Once the garage apron was taken care of, the crew then shifted their focus to the sunken slab in front of the front door. After both sections were successfully lifted and leveled, the crew cleaned their job site and left the home. The homeowners were impressed by the excellent job done by the crew.
