Driveway Lifted with PolyLevel in Minnetonka, MN
Challenge
A homeowner in Minnetonka, MN, was preparing their yard for the upcoming winter when they noticed sections of their driveway were different levels. Knowing this could become a serious issue, the homeowner decided to reach out for expert guidance. The homeowner was hesitant to replace the entire slab, so they hoped to find a company that would repair their concrete. During their search, the homeowners came across our website and noticed all the concrete lifting, leveling, and repair services we offer. Since they were already on our website, they signed up for their FREE estimate. After setting the appointment, we sent Michel, one of our Design Specialists, to complete the estimate. Once he arrived, Michel began inspecting the status of the concrete. When he completed the inspection, Michel discovered that the concrete was sinking.
Solution
After Michel found the cause of the issue, he recommended that the homeowner lift the concrete, so it matches with the entire slab. The homeowners deliberated all their options, but they determined that their best option was to go with Michel's plan. Once the homeowners agreed with the plans, a crew was assigned to complete the project. Our Foreman, Patrick, and his crew began by installing PolyLevel underneath the driveway apron and concrete sections. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that restores the appearance and safety of your concrete. After the PolyLevel installation was complete, the crew shifted their focus to filling the many cracks and joints. To fill the joints and cracks, the crew utilized the NexusPro Joint Sealant, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks. Once all the cracks and joints were filled, the crew cleaned up the customer's yard and left the home. The homeowners were happy with the wonderful job completed by the crew.
