Sidewalk Saved in New Brighton, MN
Challenge
In New Brighton, MN a homeowner was unhappy with the look of his front sidewalk area. As the summer months were coming and he would be spending more time outside, he wanted to make a change sooner than later. He started looking at companies that specialized in concrete lifting, and he found our American Waterworks website. The thing that first caught his eye was our offering of FREE estimates for an expert to visit the home first before any work began and he signed up for his own estimate. We sent over Design Specialist Canon Tweed to the home where he inspected the sidewalk area and made his suggestions to the homeowner.
Solution
Canon explained that the best way to fix the problem and lift the sidewalk back up was to use PolyLevel, a structural-grade polyurethane allowing for the lifting of heavy loads, such as concrete. The homeowner was pleased to hear that it could be fixed and agreed to the plans. When Foreman Ryan Trogstad and his crew visited the site, they carefully prepped the area and carried out the PolyLevel installation. This process restored the sidewalk and caused minimal disruption to the area, resulting in a happy homeowner that was grateful for our work.
