Sidewalk Gets Upgrade in Minneapolis, MN

A homeowner in Minneapolis, MN was eager to fix his front sidewalk area. He had noticed that over time many cracks had formed and that multiple slabs had sunken. Wanting to look at repairing the area, especially for the summertime when he and his family used the sidewalk more, he started researching concrete repair companies. The homeowner found the American Waterworks website and was interested in our FREE no-obligation estimate services. He scheduled one with us and awaited the arrival of one of our expert Design Specialists. After receiving the notes from the homeowner, we sent Design Specialist Rick Weber, to the home.

Solution

Rick was familiar with concrete issues and had seen many similar problems from homeowners in the past. He informed the homeowner that this was something American Waterworks could help with and eliminate the problem. The homeowner was pleased with Rick's ideas and confidence in the concrete repair topics and agreed to the plans. When Foreman Ryan Trogstad and his crew visited the site, they prepped the area and began by installing PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam that expands and allows for accurate leveling of the concrete slabs. Following that installation, they wanted to make sure the area was smooth and clean, so they filled the empty joints and cracks with NexusPro, a flexible and strong silicone sealant. The homeowner was impressed with the work our team members did and happy with the final results.
