Walkway Lifted in Waseca, MN
Challenge
A homeowner in Waseca, MN was frustrated with his front walkway because of how much it had sunken over the years. As a result, there was a large gap between the bottom of the front stoop and the walkway that both looked unpleasant and was a safety hazard for those walking down the steps. The homeowner had added a homemade step out of wood for the time being but was still wanting a more permanent solution. He searched for concrete lifting services in the area and found the American Waterworks company website. After looking into some of our past projects and enjoying the results, he signed up for one of our FREE estimates.
Solution
We received the homeowner's request and decided to send over Design Specialist Mike Dexter to the home. Mike made sure to analyze the concrete area and answer any questions that the homeowner had. He suggested that our strong PolyLevel solution would be able to raise the walkway back up to the original height and get rid of the large gap that was causing issues. The homeowner said yes to the plans and was eager for the project to begin. When our Foreman Patrick Burnes and his crew went to the site, they carefully installed the PolyLevel foam until the slabs were fully lifted. To finish of the project, they used NexusPro joint sealant for a neat final look and to protect the lifted concrete. The homeowner was very happy with the results and thanked our team for their hard work.
