Porch and Walkway Lifted in Cedar, MN
Challenge
A homeowner in Cedar, MN was wanting to increase the curb appeal of his home. He had noticed that over time a gap had formed between the home and the concrete porch, which clearly showed that it had sunk. He decided to find a solution sooner than later and prevent the issue from getting worse. Going online to see what his options were, he found the American Waterworks company website and became interested in our services and products, including our PolyLevel injections for concrete repairs. He decided to sign up for one of our FREE no-obligation estimates to learn more from a professional.
Solution
We received the homeowner's request and sent over our Design Specialist, Gary Schulte. Gary arrived at the home and carried out a detailed inspection of the front porch and the other concrete areas like the front steps and walkway. Gary determined that the concrete had indeed sunk and would need to be lifted back up to its original height with the installation of PolyLevel. The homeowner agreed to the plans and was later met by Foreman Troy Johnson and his crew. They carefully injected the PolyLevel underneath the concrete and once finished, sealed in between the slabs with NexusPro joint sealant. The homeowner was impressed with the final result and happy he had contacted us for help.
