Sunken Walkway Repaired in Stacyville, IA

Challenge

A homeowner in Stacyville, IA was looking at making some changes to his front yard space and the first thing he wanted to focus on was the walkway connecting the driveway to the front door. Many of the slabs that made up the walkway had sunk and created an uneven surface that was both unsafe and unsightly. He went online to look up concrete repair companies in the area and found the American Waterworks company website. He was interested in our quality products and services, so he signed up for a FREE estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Brad Williams, went to the home to inspect the concrete and answer any questions the homeowner had.

Solution

Brad informed the homeowner that the soil underneath the concrete had likely settled over the years resulting in the sunken and uneven slabs. He also explained the plan he developed to lift, level, and seal the slabs to restore the space. The homeowner was eager to move forward with the project, so he agreed to the installations. Our Foreman, Sam Klennert, and his crew went to the site to carry out the installations of PolyLevel and NexusPro and the homeowner was very happy with the final results.
