Concrete Repaired in North Mankato, MN
Challenge
A homeowner in North Mankato, MN was walking into his side garage door one day when he tripped and fell. Upon closer look, he noticed how big of a bump had formed from the sunken concrete slab and knew it wasn't supposed to be that way. The homeowner had already been looking to make a change to repair the cracks and unevenness in his driveway, so he knew it was time to get it done altogether. He went online and looked for Mankato concrete contractors and the American Waterworks company name popped up. After he familiarized himself with the products and services that we had to offer he knew we were the best fit for the job and signed up for a FREE estimate with us.
Solution
We received the homeowner's request and sent one of our Design Specialists, Mitch Strain, to the home to inspect the trip hazard and driveway and see what could be done to fix it. Mitch explained that the concrete had sunk so much because the soil underneath it had settled and that our PolyLevel foam could tackle this problem by lifting the slabs back up. The homeowner agreed to the installation, and our Foreman, Patrick Burnes, and his crew later went to the site to carry out the plans. They lifted the concrete slabs back up as well as sealed the joints around them with NexusPro sealant. The homeowner was thrilled with the driveway's new look and to have the trip hazard gone for good.
