Apartment Complex Crawl Space Repair in Hendricks, MN

Challenge

An apartment complex in Hendricks, MN had a dirt crawl space that had water seeping in. This was creating a humid, musty and unhealthy space for the tenants, so the landlord contacted us to learn more about out our crawl space waterproofing solutions. We sent a Design Specialist to the apartment complex to inspect the crawl space, develop a thorough solution and provide him with a free estimate. The landlord was pleased with the extensive plan to waterproof and encapsulate the large crawl space, so he scheduled the installation.

Solution

Our production crew removed the excess debris from the crawl space and laid drainage matting along the floor and SilverGlo along the walls. They sprayed the rim joists with our spray foam insulation to completely seal off the crawl space from the outside. Then, they installed two TripleSafe sump pumps because the crawl space was so large. Lastly, they laid our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the entire dirt floor of the crawl space which encapsulates it completely, keeping out pests, moisture and humidity. The project took a couple days to complete, but now the apartment complex is a cleaner, drier and healthier space.
