Crawl Space Foundation Wall Repaired in Glyndon, MN
Challenge
Barb F. of Glyndon, MN had water leaking through the soil into her crawl space insulation walls, causing them to dampen. In order for insulation to hold up, the foundation must be properly installed to prevent the home from settling. Barb was worried about the value and stability of her home, so she did some research on our website and came across our crawl space repair products. She scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Rick Weber. Rick went to her home, inspected the problem, and came up with a solution. Barb was comfortable with Rock's proposal, so she followed through with the project.
Solution
Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production crew began the installation by digging out the soil around the insulation and footings with an excavator. Then, our team installed our SilverGlo Foundation Wall to support the insulation. Our SilverGlo is a radiant barrier that insulates crawl spaces and basement walls, while also holding back water moisture. To complete the installation, our team backfilled the dugged out area and replaced the soil.
