CrawlSpace Produces Funky Smell in Hunter, ND

Challenge

A homeowner in Hunter, ND, was lounging in their living room when they noticed a foul scent wafting through their home. While investigating, the homeowner discovered the crawlspace was the source of the stench. The homeowners wanted to get rid of the smell, but they did not know who to call. After researching, the homeowners discovered American Waterworks and signed up for their FREE estimate. American Waterworks sent out Design Specialist, Kole, to explore the crawlspace and draft a solution.

Solution

After his evaluation, Kole presented his solution to the homeowners and they agreed to his recommendations. Our Foreman, Franklin, and his crew went right to work and began the encapsulation process. The crew began by cleaning the debris off the floor and taking the insulation off the walls. Once the area was clean, the crew placed the Foamax on the walls. Then, they applied Spray Foam on the rim joist in the crawlspace. Once the walls were insulated, the crew laid CleanSpace on the walls and floors of the crawlspace.  The vents were then sealed and the encapsulation process was complete. The homeowner was happy they could enjoy being in their fresh-smelling home. American Waterworks is happy to help solve another customer's issue.
