CleanSpace Installed in Rutland, ND

Challenge

Over time, A homeowner in Rutland, ND, was beginning to notice musty smells and odors wafting through his home. After searching for the source to no avail, he began to ask his friends and neighbors if they had any idea what may be causing the smell. After many referrals, the homeowner decided to sign up for American Waterworks' FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist, Ian, traveled to the home in hopes of giving the homeowner an answer to their issue. Once he arrived, Ian began his inspection of the home. After he completed the inspection, Ian discovered that the homeowner's unsealed crawl space was the culprit behind the smell. Ian suggested that the homeowners repair the crawl space and the homeowners agreed.

Solution

Per Ian's recommendations, the crew planned on installing CleanSpace and Sprayfoam in the crawl space. Prior to the installation, the homeowner was asked to clear any debris and move the washing machine away from the crawl space. The crew arrived and began the project by installing CleanSpace. Throughout the crawl space, CleanSpace was installed on the entire west, south, and east crawl space floor. In the east crawl space, the walls were wrapped as necessary. Sprayfoam was applied on the entire west wall and exterior joist pockets around the crawl space. The crew left the foam board that was hanging on the existing wall. The crew promptly completed the job. The homeowners were thankful to solve the issue and prevent any more damage. American Waterworks is happy to work with another lovely customer.
