Cracked and Bowed Foundation Restored in Madelia, MN

Challenge

Frank H. in Madelia, MN had two walls in his basement that were cracked and bowing. He was worried about the stability of his foundation, so he contacted American Waterworks to learn more about his options to repair his foundation. After meeting with us, he was pleased to learn that we could permanently repair his foundation by installation wall anchors, and that repairing his foundation is far more cost-effective than replacing it.

Solution

We installed the wall anchors along the two damaged walls by drilling long, metal rods through the wall into the soil. Then, we secured the rod on each end with anchor plates. The installation only took two days, and now Frank no longer is worried about the stability of his home because our anchors have permanently secured his walls.
