Geo-Lock Anchors Stabilize Garage Foundation in Webster, MN

Challenge

Dean B. in Webster, MN had a garage foundation that was separating from the garage floor. He was referred to American Waterworks by a previous customer and gave us a call. He was happy to learn that we have been permanelty restoring foundations for 30 years! We sent one of our Design Specialists, Eric Hazelton, to meet with Dean, evaluate the situation and propose a solution that was unique to his home. Dean was impressed with Eric’s assessment and our products, and he chose to move forward with the project.

Solution

Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production crew were successfully able to stabilize Dean’s garage foundation by installing 12 Geo-Lock Wall Anchors around the bowed and cracking foundation. The wall anchor system permanently stabilizes the foundation walls by anchoring the walls to the hard-packed soil beyond the foundation. Our anchors have the potential to straighten the walls over time and can be installed year-round. Dean was impressed with the installation, and glad he invested in a permanent solution.
