Geo-Lock Wall Anchors and TripleSafe Installed in Cresco, IA

Challenge

Raymond W. in Cresco, IA contacted American Waterworks after seeing one of our advertisements in the Cresco Shopper. He had a leaky basement with some cracked and bowing foundation walls. He was concerned about the structural integrity of his home and the health implications the water seepage could be causing. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Pete Wangen, to evaluate the situation and propose the best solution. After Pete’s inspection, he was able to recommend a combination of our waterproofing and foundation repair products. Raymond was impressed with Pete’s presentation and the products we offered, and he moved forward with the project.

Solution

Our Foreman, Austin Lucas, and his production team were successfully able to stabilize the damaged foundation wall with the installation of 5 of our Geo-Lock Wall Anchors. The wall anchor system permanently stabilizes the foundation wall by anchoring the wall to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation. After installation, the wall anchors can often be tightened over time to further straighten the foundation wall and pull it back to its original position. Next, the crew installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump and our SaniDry dehumidifier to help with the leaking water and take care of any humidity. Raymond was thrilled with the results, and glad he made the investment to protect his home.
