Cracked Foundation Walls in Monona, IA
Challenge
Homeowners in Monona, IA had cracked foundation walls in their basement that would only get worse before they got better. They called American Waterworks for a FREE Estimate, and we sent out our Design Specialist, Brian Ramirez, to inspect their problem and come up with a solution. The homeowners were content with the presentation and proposal, so they scheduled an installation date.
Solution
Our Foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his production crew began the installation by digging six holes outside the back of the home, parallel to the foundation wall. They put a long, metal rod in each hole from the soil to the interior foundation, and installed our GeoLock Wall Anchor System. Our GeoLock Wall Anchors are made to stabilize foundation walls and straighten them back into their normal position. To complete the installation, Hugo and his team backfilled the holes and replaced the soil. The homeowners were extremely happy with the final product, and no longer have to worry about their foundation walls cracking!
