Foundation Repair Project in Gibbon, MN
Challenge
Steve and Linda M. of Gibbon, MN had cracked foundation walls in their basement causing a hazardous safety problem for their home. They saw American Waterworks at the New Ulm Home Show and decided to talk to one of our design specialists about our foundation repair products. After an in-depth discussion, Steve and Linda scheduled a FREE Estimate.
Solution
Our Design Specialist, Ryan Powell, went to their home to inspect the foundation walls and come up with a solution. Steve and Linda were confident with the proposal so they went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production crew began the installation by digging six holes (3 in the front, 3 on the left side) around the home and inserting a long, medal rod in each hole from the exterior soil to the interior foundation wall. Our crew installed and tightened one of our GeoLock Wall Anchors on the end of each rod, made to straighten and stabilize the foundation wall. They're corrosion-resistant and can be tightened by the homeowner over time to make sure it stays in place. To complete the project, Juan and his team back-filled the holes and left the yard cleaner than when they found it. Steve and Linda were very happy with the outcome, and were grateful they found us at their local home show!
