Foundation Repair in Thief River Falls, MN
Challenge
Mike G. of Thief River Falls, MN had sagging floor beams causing him to worry about the structural build of his home. He wanted to restore the stability and straightness to make it a safer place to live. He did some research online and came across our website. He called our office line to get some more information about our foundation repair products and our free estimates. Our Design Specialist, Richie Noreen, went to his home to inspect the problem and come up with a solution. Mike got all of his questions answered regarding Richie's proposal of our SmartJack System and what it could do for his home, so he went ahead with the project.
Solution
Our Foreman, Corey Tollefson, and his production team began the project by breaking out three small squares in the concrete floor. Next, they put a small square plate to each spot they broke out and installed a SmartJack onto each plate. Then, they installed a bracket at the top of each SmartJack in connection to the ceiling joists. To complete the project, Corey and his team applied new concrete over each square that they broke out. This process provides solid support for sagging and undersized beams and because of its design, it can be adjusted overtime to provide additional straightening and leveling.
