A homeowner in Selfridge, ND was experiencing terrible foundation failure, making them feel extremely nervous and unsafe living in their home. Solution
Our Foreman, Corey, and his production crew began the project by digging and jackhammering small holes outside of the home, on the front and back sides parallel to the bowed foundation walls. From the inside of the foundation wall in the basement, our team drilled a long, medal rod through the foundation wall to each hole outside of the home. On the ends of each rod, our team tightened and screwed on a GeoLock Wall Anchor. Our GeoLock Wall Anchor System stabilizes foundation walls by anchoring the walls to the hard-packed soil beyond the foundation. After the installation, wall anchors can be tightened over time to further straighten the walls and pull them back to their original position. To complete the installation, Corey and his team backfilled each hole leaving the yard looking cleaner than when they found it. The homeowner was happy with the repairs and had a great experience with our team from start to finish!
