Basement Transformation in Appleton, MN

Challenge

Amanda, from Appleton, MN was facing some issues with her basement. She was beginning to notice water finding its way into the space, as well as one of her basement walls beginning to bow inward, showing signs of failure. Amanda was worried that if she left the issue unresolved, she would run the risk of doing permanent damage. After doing some research, Amanda decided to give us a call. When she got in contact with us, we set her up with our FREE estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Ryan P, headed out to the property to do a thorough inspection of the issue. Once he completed his walkthrough, he was able to make some recommendations as to how we could help. 

Solution

First, Ryan wanted to use our PowerBrace system to address the failing wall. He explained to Amanda that our PowerBraces work to stabilize failing walls in their current position without any further adjustment. He went on to say that over time, they can be tightened to make bowing or tilting walls straighter and more vertical. His second recommendation was our SuperSump Pump.  Ryan informed Amanda that because of the cracks in her walls, unwanted water was not a surprise. He wanted to use the SuperSump because its effective, and economical and is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion. Amanda agreed and work began shortly after. 

Our Foreman, Luis, ended up installing 5 of our PowerBraces and one SuperSump in the basement of the home with no issues. Once the job was complete, Amanda was happy to know that she could go back to enjoying her basement without worry.
