Basement Gets Stabilized in Center City, MN

Challenge

Tom from Center City, MN was starting to notice cracks forming in the foundation of the basement of his home. Tom knew that if he left his foundation issue alone, he could run the risk of compromising the structural integrity of his home. Not wanting to cause any more damage, Tom began to do research about companies in the area servicing his foundation issues. When he came across our company, he gave us a call and we set him up with our FREE estimate. A few weeks later our Design Specialist headed out to the property to see what could be done. 

Solution

Once our Design Specialist had completed his walkthrough, he recommended our GeoLock wall anchors to fix the issue. Our Design Specialist explained to Tom that the GeoLock anchor was the preferred method of straightening as they extend out to the stable, hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation, anchoring themselves there and bracing the foundation wall, effectively pulling the wall back into place. Tom agreed with our Design Specialist's recommendations and work began a few weeks later. 

Our Foreman, Jose C, and his team ended up installing 12 GeoLock anchors throughout the basement on the failing walls. They explained to Tom that our wall anchors can be tightened over time to ensure that the wall stays stable, giving Tom added peace of mind. When the job was complete, Tom was happy to know that he no longer had to worry about his failing foundation!
