Sloping Floor Gets Fixed in Elizabeth, MN

Challenge

A customer from Elizabeth, MN was facing an issue with a sloping floor on the main level of his home. He wasn't exactly sure what the cause was but knew he wanted to have it fixed before it could get any worse. After coming across our website, he decided to give us a call to see if we could help. When he called in we set him up with our FREE estimate. A few weeks later our Design Specialist, Evan, headed out to the property to assess the situation. After he finished his walkthrough, he informed our customer that the sloping was a direct result of wooden support beams on the ceiling below that were beginning to bow. 

Solution

Evan recommended the use of our SmartJack support system. He explained that our SmartJack system is comprised of steel beams used to provide solid support for sagging and undersized beams, restoring stability and straightness to sagging floor joists. Once installed, SmartJack support posts can correct problems such as sloping and overly springy floors, interior wall cracks, and out-of-level door frames. Paul agreed with the recommendations and work began shortly after. 

Our Foreman, Zach, and his team made quick work of installing 2 of our SmartJacks along with a supplemental beam that ran the length of the space. Once the job was complete, our customer was happy to know that he no longer needed to worry about sagging floor joists!
