Stability Concerns Get Addressed in Ray, ND

Challenge

A homeowner had major concerns regarding their home's stability. The concerns arose due to sections of their basement wall falling apart. Distressed regarding their safety, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the appointment was set, our Design Specialist, Ian, traveled to the home to examine the damage. Ian discovered that the foundation was at risk for wall failure. Ian recommended that the homeowners stabilize the walls with the EverBrace wall stabilization system, PowerBraces, and SmartJacks. The homeowners agreed with Ian's recommendations and the crew was sent out to begin the project.

Solution

Before the crew's arrival, the homeowners were asked to cap all the plumbing lines along the north wall, remove ducting along the west walls, and detach the circular runs over to the east wall. Our Foreman, Domenic, and his crew started the project by removing any fallen rocks in the work area. Once the debris was cleaned up, the crew installed the EverBrace System along the entire west wall. Then, PowerBrace was placed near the stairs for further support. Finally, a supplemental beam was placed and SmartJacks were installed along the west wall for additional assistance. After all the products were properly installed, the crew cleaned the work area and left the home. The homeowners were relieved to know their home was safe.
