Cracked Wall Concerns in Saint Martin, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Saint Martin, MN, discovered a concerning crack across her south basement wall. Since the separation was quite noticeable, the homeowner thought it was a good idea to have a professional come and take a look. The homeowner called American Waterworks and signed up for her FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist, Daniel, traveled to the home to conduct an in-depth inspection. Once the inspection was complete, Daniel suggested that the homeowners stabilize the basement walls. The homeowners agreed with Daniel's recommendations and the stabilization preparation began.

Solution

Our Foreman, Raul, and his crew arrived to begin stabilizing the separating wall. The crew installed four Geolocks on the south wall. In addition to installing the Geolocks, the homeowners wished to include the wall straightening kit. Over time, the homeowner can tighten the Geolocks to gradually straighten the walls. Once the Geolocks were put in place, the crew transitioned to installing the CarbonArmor. On the west and east walls, two CarbonArmor strips were applied as wall reinforcement. Once the CarbonArmor was put into place, the crew cleaned up their site and went on their way. The homeowners were happy that their walls were sturdy. American Waterworks is glad that another customer is pleased with their results.
