Deteriorating Wall Gets Transformed in Spiritwood, ND

Challenge

A homeowner in Spiritwood, ND, nervously searched for a foundation restoration company that would repair their rapidly decaying basement wall. Knowing we do excellent work, the homeowners signed up for American Waterworks FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist, Richie, went to the home to evaluate the wall's status. After completing the thorough evaluation, Richie notified the homeowner the wall was on the verge of failure. Richie proposed a solution that would save the wall and stabilize the foundation. The homeowner agreed and a crew was assigned to complete the job.

Solution

Once they were given the go-ahead, our Foreman, Sam, and his crew went to the home and began the restoration process. First, the crew wanted to stabilize the home's foundation. Under the footing of the interior basement wall, the crew installed three Helical Piers. Second, the crew prepared the decaying wall for Shotlock. To stabilize the wall, the crew installed Geo-Lock Wall Anchors. Once the anchors were put into place, the multiple layers of Shotlock were applied to the wall. After all the layers are applied, the crew flattens it to give it a smooth finish. The homeowner was happy that their home was secured and safe for their family.
