Basement Crack Concerns Homeowners in Stirum, ND

Challenge

A homeowner in Stirum, ND expressed concerns regarding cracks running in between the blocks of their basement wall. Wanting to avoid further damage, the homeowner began to search for a solution. After searching, the homeowner saw that American Waterworks checked all of the boxes they desired. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. We sent our Design Specialist, James, to the property to provide the homeowners with some answers. Following his inspection, James suggested that the homeowners stabilize the south basement wall otherwise the wall failure would progress. The homeowners agreed and we sent our crew to begin repairs.

Solution

Our Foreman, Kingsley, and his crew arrived at the home and began prepping for the foundation repairs. First, the crew began by installing five Geo-Lock anchors along the south basement walls. In addition to installing the Geo-Locks, the homeowner requested to have the Geo-Lock straightening kit. With this kit, the homeowner can straighten the basement wall over time. Then, the crew installed CleanSpace on top of all four basement walls. The CleanSpace wall barrier will protect the basement from mold growth and create a vapor barrier. As soon as CleanSpace was properly installed, the crew cleaned the job site and moved to their next task.
