Garage Walls Stabilized in Afton, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Afton, MN, realized that their garage walls were beginning to pull away from one another. Concerned about the possible structural damages, the homeowner decided to visit our website and sign up for their FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist, Darin, traveled to the home to complete the estimate and come up with possible solutions. After completing the estimate, Darin recommended that the homeowners permanently stabilize the walls and foundation in the lower garage. Worried that the damage would worsen, the homeowners agreed with Darin's recommendation.

Solution

Our Foreman, Juan, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the stabilization process. First, they prepped the south wall in the lower garage as well as the outside of the garage. Then, they went ahead and installed four PowerBraces along the south basement wall. After the PowerBraces were put into place, the crew moved on to install the SmartJacks. Near the middle of the western wall, the crew installed two SmartJacks. Once the lower garage was properly stabilized, the focus shifted to installing the CleanSpace. The crew installed CleanSpace along the entire west and south lower garage walls. Once the crew finished stabilization and installation, they cleaned the site and left it as good as new.
