Foundation Bowing Resolved in Park Rapids, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Park Rapids, MN, was concerned regarding their foundation caving into their basement. Wanting to solve the issue before it worsens, the homeowner wanted to have the issue resolved. After hearing many positive reviews from their neighbors, the homeowner decided to look closer at us, American Waterworks. The homeowners were impressed by all our services and previous jobs, so they decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists to the home to complete the estimate. After completing the detailed inspection, the Design Specialist determined the cause of the bowing wall was hydrostatic pressure.

Solution

Once they found the causes, the Design Specialist suggested that the homeowners permanently stabilize their walls. Knowing this would provide long-term results, the homeowner agreed with the Design Specialist's suggestions. After the plans were approved, we assigned a crew to complete the job. Our Foreman, Franklin, and his crew arrived at the home to begin production. The crew began the project by excavating the deteriorating wall in the basement. Once the wall was torn down, the crew could start installing eighteen PowerBraces on the affected walls. After the PowerBraces were installed, the crew shifted their focus to installing the SentrySeal on the outside of the foundation. Once the SentrySeal was installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and put the home back together.
