Failing Wall Stabilized in Mason City, IA

A homeowner in Mason City, IA, grew concerned over the safety of their foundation after discovering several large cracks. Not wanting to let damage progress, the homeowner knew they needed to hire a professional. The homeowner asked their neighbor if they had any recommendations for the homeowner and they sent them to us, American Waterworks. After hearing the great reviews, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Eric, to investigate the status of the foundation. Once Eric arrived, he took a close look at the foundation and found that it was suffering from caving cracking due to hydrostatic pressure.

Solution

After Eric found the cause of the issue, he could provide a solution for the homeowner. Eric recommended installing GeoLocks, our innovative wall anchor system, on the west and north foundation walls. Crescencio and his crew arrived at the home to begin the GeoLock installation. To start the crew, began by installing six GeoLock anchors on the north foundation wall. Once those were in place, the crew shifted to installing four on the west foundation wall. Additionally, the crew included a tightening kit, so the walls could be straightened over time. The crew successfully installed all the products, so they cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the excellent job completed by the crew.
