Cracked Foundation Fixed in Belle Plaine, MN
Challenge
A homeowner in Belle Plaine, MN was concerned when he began noticing small cracks that had formed in the drywall of the front bedroom in his home. He became even more alarmed when he felt a bump underneath the carpet and once he removed part of the carpet to see what it was, found a large crack in the foundation. The homeowner knew something had to be done sooner than later to ensure that the problems didn't get worse and hurt other parts of the home. He went online and discovered that American Waterworks offered FREE estimates for homeowners to learn more about a plan before agreeing to installations, so he signed up for his own.
Solution
We sent over one of our Design Specialists, Derek Vickstrom, to carry out an inspection of the home and give his solutions to the homeowner. Derek assured the homeowner that although the crack had grown into a large problem, something could still be done to save the foundation. The homeowner was relieved to hear this and agreed to the installation plans.
