Cracked Wall Stabilized in Cavalier, ND

Challenge

A homeowner in Cavalier, ND, grew very concerned after discovering the cracks on their foundation walls were spreading. They knew it was finally time to have the wall professionally inspected, so they began looking into foundation repair companies near them. One of the first companies to spark their interest was us, American Waterwork. The homeowner saw our extensive list of services and was impressed with our previous projects, so they decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Kole, to the home to inspect the status of the foundation.

Solution

After Kole arrived, he began his extensive inspection of the outside and inside foundation. Kole saw that the foundation was beginning to settle and would only worsen if not resolved. Kole proposed that the walls be permanently stabilized with our wall anchoring systems. The homeowner wanted a permanent solution, so they agreed with Kole's suggestions. Once they received the stamp of approval, the plans were sent to the office. The office approved the plans and sent them to our Foreman, Aaron, and his crew. After they received the plans, Aaron and his crew traveled to the home to begin the wall stabilization. First, the crew installed 9 GeoLock Wall Anchors on the north and east walls. GeoLock Wall Anchors permanently stabilize your foundation wall and can straighten it back to its original position. Once the GeoLocks were secured, the crew shifted their focus to installing PowerBraces on the south wall. PowerBraces are designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to strengthen walls over time. After the PowerBraces were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was thankful for the excellent work completed by the crew.
