Cracked Garage Foundation Repaired in Devils Lake, ND

Challenge

A homeowner in Devils Lake, ND, was concerned after discovering several cracks growing throughout their garage foundation. Instead of letting the cracks spread, the homeowners knew they needed to find a permanent solution. Unsure who to work with, the homeowner began looking at foundation repair companies based out of Fargo, ND. At the top of the list was the highly-rated, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to take a closer look at the companies close to them. After reviewing our previous projects, the homeowner knew we were the best option for them. Next, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate.

Solution

Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Dylan. Dylan arrived at the home and started the inspection. During his inspection, Dylan discovered the garage foundation was settling. The settlement was causing the cracks throughout the garage foundation. After Dylan found the cause of the issue, he was able to provide them with a solution. Dylan recommended permanently stabilizing the garage foundation with GeoLock Wall Anchors, our innovative wall anchoring system. The homeowner agreed with Dylan's recommendations, so he passed along the plans to the office to be finalized. After they were approved, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Kingsley, and his crew. Kingsley and his crew traveled to the home to start the GeoLock installation. First, they installed three GeoLock Wall Anchors on the West wall. Once those were secured, they moved on to installing four on the North wall. The crew successfully installed all the GeoLock Wall Anchors, so they cleaned up their materials and left the home.
