Bowing Foundation Straightened and Stabilized in Cresco, IA

A homeowner in Cresco, IA noticed stair step cracks growing throughout their walls. Concerned by this discovery, the homeowner knew they needed to solve the issue before it worsened. The homeowner decided to go to Google and research "Iowa foundation repair". After looking through several companies, the homeowner came across our website. Once their estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Brady, to the home to begin the inspection.

Solution

Brady traveled to Cresco and began his thorough investigation of the foundation. During his investigation, Brady found that the south foundation was bowing significantly. To prevent the wall from bowing further, Brady recommended permanently stabilizing the foundation. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with Brady's proposal. Once approved, Brady sent the proposal to the Logistics team to be finalized. Once the plans were finalized, they assigned the plans to our Foreman, Raul, and his crew to begin the project. Raul and his crew traveled to the home and began production. First, Brady and his crew installed four GeoLock Wall Anchors on the south foundation wall. GeoLock Wall Anchors is our innovative wall anchoring system that can straighten your walls back to their original position. Once the GeoLock Wall Anchors were properly secured into place, the crew shifted their focus to installing seven CarbonArmor strips onto the east and west walls. CarbonArmor permanently stabilizes your foundation wall using fiber-reinforced polymers, which are ten times stronger than steel, but yet flexible enough to contour tightly against the wall. Once all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted to know their walls were properly secured and straightened.
