West Fargo, ND Bowing Wall Stabilized.
Challenge
A homeowner in West Fargo, ND, grew concerned after seeing their foundation was beginning to bow inwards. Uncertain about the cause, the homeowner looked into repair options closest to their home. Near the top of the search results stood us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to take a closer look at our services. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Ian, one of our Design Specialists.
Solution
Ian made the quick drive to West Fargo and began the thorough investigation of the basement. During his investigation, Ian found that the foundation was beginning to bow inward and the wall was failing. To stop the wall failure from continuing, Ian recommended permanently stabilizing the foundation walls with GeoLock Wall Anchors. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Ian's proposal. Next, Ian sent the proposal to our Logistics team to build and schedule the project. Once the project was scheduled and finalized, it was assigned to our Foreman, Franklin, and his crew. Franklin and his team traveled to the home and started the GeoLock installation. GeoLocks is a permanent stabilizing wall system that has the potential to straighten your walls back to their original position. Franklin and his crew installed 13 GeoLocks throughout the basement. The crew installed five on the east wall, four on the west wall, and four on the south wall. Once all the walls were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was in awe of the excellent work completed by the crew. If you notice your walls are beginning to bow inward, sign up for your FREE estimate today!
