Foundation Repair Photo Album: SmartJacks and Wall Restoration in Caledonia, MN

Lyn R. in Caledonia, MN noticed that the floor in her home was starting to sag and was concerned about the stability of her foundation. She did some research and learned that American Waterworks has been restoring foundations for the last 30 years! She met with our Design Specialist, Rick Weber, who recommended she have our structural support jacks and supplemental support beams installed to stop any further deterioration. Our Foreman, Jose Castillo, and his production crew installed 5 SmartJacks and supplemental beams. Our SmartJacks can be installed year-round and can support vertical loads exceeding 60,000 pounds. Then, they installed our Shotcrete Wall Restoration System along the weakening walls. Shotcrete works to stabilize the foundation with minimal disturbance. The fiber-reinforced mortar mixture is twice as strong as standard concrete. They finished the project with installing our SaniDry dehumidifier to take care of the humidity. Lyn was pleased with the results, and can rest easy knowing her foundation is permanently stabilized.
