Foundation Repair Photo Album: Sinking Foundation Stabilization in La Crosse, WI

Jim R. in La Crosse, WI contacted American Waterworks after he saw one of our commercials on TV. He had some cracking in his foundation and was concerned about the structural integrity of his home. He suspected that the foundation was sinking or settling and wanted a professional opinion. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Brian Ramirez, to meet with Jim, inspect the home, and propose a custom designed solution for his home. Jim was impressed with Brian’s presentation and the products we offer, and he moved forward with the project.  Our Foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his production team were successfully able to stabilize, repair, and restore the damaged foundation with the installation of 14 Push Piers. Foundation push piers are straight, steel piers that attach to the foundation and extend far below the structure to strong supporting soils. Foundation brackets are secured to the footing, and tubular pier sections are hydraulically driven through each bracket until the piers meet competent, supportive soil that can bear the weight of the home. When all push piers have been installed, they will work in unison to transfer the weight of the structure to the strong soils or bedrock below. If possible, the home is also lifted back to its original, level position. Jim was impressed with the entire process, and we are happy we could restore his peace of mind!
