We sent one of our Design Specialists, Ryan Powell, to meet with Jean, evaluate the situation and propose the best, cost-effective solution for her home. After Ryan’s inspection, he was able to recommend a combination of our foundation repair and waterproofing products to ensure Jean’s basement would remain a stable and dry space. Jean was impressed with Ryan’s inspection and presentation, and she moved forward with the project. Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production crew were successfully able to stabilize Jean’s basement walls with the installation of 12 Geo-Lock wall anchors and 7 CarbonArmor strips around the deteriorating foundation. The crew began the waterproofing project with removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and installing 142 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system and feed line through the middle of the floor. Next, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump in the corner and CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls. The crew completed the job with installing our EverLast Wall Restoration System and insulated floor decking. Lastly, they installed our SaniDry dehumidifier to take care of any humidity. Water is now properly guided through the WaterGuard to the sump pump. From there, the water is expelled from the home through the discharge line. Jean was amazed by the transformation, and we are happy we could help restore her peace of mind!
