Foundation Repair Photo Album: Push Piers Sustain Foundation Crawl Space in Ellsworth, MN

Erin D. of Ellsworth, MN had settlement issues with her crawl space foundation. She gave American Waterworks a call to set up a Free Estimate. We sent out our Design Specialist, Eric Hazelton, to their home to inspect their current situation. Erin got all of her questions answered and was comfortable with the proposal, so she got an installed date scheduled.  Our foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his production team started the Push Pier Foundation System installation by excavating all the soil surrounding the foundation, allowing enough room for the guys to begin the installation. Then, they installed eight steel brackets underneath the settling foundation for the eight push piers. Next, the piers were pushed through the bracket until it hit a supportive soil basew. The weight of the house was carefully shifted onto the piers which steadied and endorsed the home.  Push piers are the best foundation repair system when soil is poor, and they provide along-term solution for our customers that have house settlement problems. After everything was complete, our production team replaced the soil surround the home. Erin was very pleased and glad she chose American Waterworks to save the stability of her home.
