Foundation Repair Photo Album: Anchors Stabilize Basement Walls in Independence, WI

Josephine S. of Independence, WI had bowed foundation walls in her basement and needed them to be looked at. She called American Waterworks to schedule a Free Estimate. We sent out our Design Specialist, Mac Cole, to examine the issue and come up with a solution. After a thorough inspection, Josephine got an installation date set. Our foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production crew began the installation by digging out 11 small holes from the outside front of the home. In each hole, they installed a long, metal rod from the soil to the interior foundation. On each end of the rod, our crew installed and tightened a GeoLock Wall Anchor to strengthen the foundation wall and straighten it back to its normal position. This process is known as our GeoLock Wall Anchor foundation repair system. This system will stabilize your foundation wall by anchoring your walls to your soil. Wall anchors can be tightened over time by the homeowner to further strengthen the life and stability of them as well. Next, our crew put the anchor plates on and capped them. To finalize the project, Jesus and his production team replaced the exterior soil and made sure the yard looked better than when they found it.
