Foundation Repair Photo Album: Tilting Foundation Wall Repaired in Wahpeton, ND

Homeowners of Wahpeton, ND were experiencing severe bowing and tilting foundation wall problems in their home, causing them to feel unsafe and nervous to live in their home. After seeing American Waterworks at their local home show and learning a bit about our foundation repair products, they set up a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Rick Weber. Rick went to their home, inspected their problem and came up with a solution. The homeowners were content with Rick's proposal and presentation, so they moved forward with the installation process.  Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production crew began the project by digging five small holes beyond the home, and digging out 24 feet of soil, which was affecting the pressure against the foundation wall, with an excavator. From the inside of the basement, Matt and his team inserted a long, medal rod from the inside wall to the soil beyond the home. Our team tightened and secured five of our GeoLock C-Channel Wall Anchors against the foundation wall. These wall anchors are made to stabilize foundation walls that are pushing in at the bottom and tilting in at the top. Next, our crew tightened and screwed on an anchor at the other end of each rod in the soil outside of the home to strengthen and pull the wall back to its normal position. To complete the project, Matt and his team backfilled the holes and excavation, and replaced the soil. The homeowners were excited with the project and had a wonderful experience from appointment to installation!
