Foundation Repair Photo Album: Failing Wall Restoration in Minot, ND

Lonnie, from Minot, ND, got in touch with us when he began to notice that his basement walls were beginning to crack and bow inward. Lonnie knew that if he left this problem unresolved, it would do damage to the structural integrity of the home which could be must harder to fix later down the road. Lonnie cashed in on his FREE estimate with us, and one of our Fargo-based Design Specialists, Kole, went out to the property. When Kole arrived, he performed a thorough investigation into the cause of the issue, and the extent of the damage, and made recommendations as to how we could help Lonnie and his household.  When he was finished, Kole recommended that Lonnie use our GeoLock wall anchors and PowerBrace wall repair system to address the failing walls. Our GeoLock anchors are strategically placed poles that are anchored inside and outside of the home and are used to pull the wall back into place and prevent any further bowing or cracking. Our PowerBrace is designed to stabilize failing walls and provide the potential to straighten the wall over time. Together, these systems would work to provide Lonnie's basement with the stabilization and support it needs.  Lonnie agreed and our Foreman and his crew got to work soon after. The crew began by strategically excavating 16 holes about 3 feet deep on the exterior of the home. Next, they ran steel bars from the inside to connect with the outside anchors. They finished the anchor installation process by connecting and tightening the anchors, slowly pulling the wall back into place.
