Radon Mitigation System Installation in Cavalier, ND
Challenge
Fred, from Cavalier, ND had heard a lot about the dangers of radon. Fred knew that Radon is a dangerous gas that is caused by the breakdown and decay of soil around the foundation of one's home. He also knew that because it was colorless, odorless, and tasteless, it has the ability to be prevalent in one's home without their knowledge. Wanting to know more about the level of his home, Fred called our office and we set him up with our FREE estimate. A few weeks later our Design Specialist, Evan, headed out to the home to complete his inspection.
Solution
When Evan arrived, he completed a radon test to accurately assess the levels in the home. Our radon testing consists of our Design Specialist leaving behind a charcoal test kit in the basement of the home for 48-72 hours. After that time, Fred mailed his test kit to the appropriate test site, and his levels were then diagnosed as being hazardously high. Evan recommended the installation of one of our radon mitigation systems installed in the home. He explained that the system works to pull radon from the home, pipe it upwards through installed piping, and expel it outwards and away from the home through an installed vent. Fred agreed and work began a few weeks later.
Our Foreman for the project, Zach, and his team worked diligently to install the system and did so with no issues. Once the job was complete, Fred was happy to know he was breathing healthy air once again!
