Atwater, MN, Radon Risk Gone

Challenge

A homeowner in Atwater, MN, was watching television with their family when they saw a commercial discussing the dangers of high radon levels. After seeing that it is the second leading cause of lung cancer, the homeowner sought to have their home tested for radon. The homeowner saw that we offer radon tests, so they decided to call our Appointment Center and sign up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Kevin. Once Kevin arrived, he greeted the homeowner and started the radon test. The test was completed and the results showed 8pCi/I, a dangerously high score.

Solution

Kevin told the homeowners of the score and highly encouraged them to install a radon mitigation system. Knowing this would be best, the homeowner agreed with Kevin's recommendations. After getting the stamp of approval, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Dakota, and his crew. When Dakota and his crew arrived, they began by preparing the home for the radon mitigation system installation. The crew installed the radon mitigation system on the west side of the home. After the radon mitigation system was installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and ensured the levels were below 4pCi/l.
