High Radon Levels Tackled in Grand Forks, ND
Challenge
A homeowner in Grand Forks, ND, recently came upon our blog post discussing the danger that radon poses in households. She learned that radon can be found in soil and creates a high toxicity level in the air. Concerned that her family was unknowingly breathing in the toxic fumes, she decided to go to the store to purchase a radon testing kit. After a couple of days, the results came back above 4 pCi/L, which is above the EPA's required action level for radon. After learning this, she decided to contact us to schedule her FREE estimate.
Solution
Our Design Specialist, Ian S., arrived at the home on the scheduled date to assess the home. He explained to the homeowner that our radon mitigation system would be installed at the lowest level of the home and would connect the air beneath the foundation to the outdoors. The homeowner happily agreed to Ian's design, and his design was then sent to our Radon Sales & Service Technician.
In several weeks, our Radon Sales & Service Technician, Jackson P., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They first began drilling a hole at the lowest level of the home. PVC pipes are then placed and connects to the system that is installed outside of the home. Once they were done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
Now, our customer can have peace of mind knowing her family is breathing clean air! Are you experiencing something similar? Click HERE to claim your FREE estimate!
